Marchwind Polar Frost Born 19 December 2025

Polar Frost is an AKC registered Italian Greyhound, a true cream which is a white dog with dark skin.  This comes from the European or FCI bloodlines which require minimal or no white markings.  Because creams have dark skin, they are not at risk for deafness, skin cancer, sunburn, or any of the white dog problems.  They do not develop body spots which could be seen under white coats in pied dogs.

This beautiful boy is just too big for my breeding program.  Polar is 16 inches tall and weighs 15 lbs. 

He is a pleasant dog who comes when he is called, enjoys freedom walks in the field, and has never been used for breeding, has never been in the house, and can be neutered at owner's discretion.  His genetic tests are excellent and he carries no recessive genes for tooth or eye problems.

MARLORD IRIS GIARDINO AT MARCHWIND Born 3 July 2023

Iris is a lovely, sweet and gentle female who loves people she knows and is fearful of strangers.  For this reason I never tried to show her.  She gets along well with other dogs, tolerates puppies, and would be a good companion for an older dog as she is polite and docile.  She has had 2 litters and is an excellent mother.  She has enamel hypoplasia so her teeth are not pretty but they are not more likely to break or fall out and they really dont need any special care.   She is a big girl who will make a great house dog, would benefit from a fenced yard, and just wants a loving home.  She was spayed 18 sep 2026 and is ready to go to her new home on 2 Oct or any time thereafter.

MARCHWIND GOING GOING GONE Born 30 January 2022

Gogo is a medium size Italian Greyhound, 12 lbs, 14 1/2 inches tall, who has been an excellent mother here at Marchwind and is now being retired to a pet home.  At 4 years old she is in excellent health and she has always been well cared for.  I did not show her as she has unpredictable ears, sometimes a tight fold and sometimes dropped forward.  She is a combination of the old Marlord bloodlines and the best of Marchwind, Grand Champion Marchwind Augustus.  She has never lived in the house but was always a clean Momma and used potty pads.  She is also used to going potty outside.

These photos are some of her younger days and some obviously as she is now with a few grey hairs.
