Rescues are SOMETIMES FREE AND SOMETIMES THERE MAY BE A CHARGE DEPENDING ON AGE, ETC
Some of the older girls are free or available for the cost of spay, and some of the young ones may cost money.
I prefer the new owners come pick them up but I will help arrange transport

- OLDER ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS TEND TO GET FAT, AND THIS IS NOT HEALTHY. PLEASE DO NOT LET MY DOGS GET FAT!
- NONE OF THESE DOGS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED HOUSEBROKEN TO YOUR HOUSE. THEY ARE CLEAN IN THEIR KENNEL SPACE BUT WILL NEED TO BE PROPERLY TRAINED IN YOUR HOME, EVEN IF THEY ARE CLEAN IN MY HOUSE WITH MY SET UP.

MARLORD MARCHWIND SUGAR COOKIE Born 4 May 2024
Sugar Cookie is a lovely pale fawn female who has had 2 litters of puppies but is still very healthy and youthful. Like most of her bloodline she is leary of strangers but bonds well to the people that she knows. She gets along well with other dogs and is clean in her space. She is an excellent mother but not really the size or type or temperament that Marchwind is looking to breed although matching her up with small, good temperament males has been successful.
She is just finishing up with her last litter of puppies so cant be spayed for 3 to 4 months but of course, no hurry. Dogs only come in heat every 6 to 8 months or longer.
I am looking for a quiet pet home for her, preferably one with a fenced yard and maybe another dog as a companion. She is an easy keeper, a good eater, and of course, beautiful.

MARLORD IRIS GIARDINO AT MARCHWIND Born 3 July 2023
Iris is a lovely, sweet and gentle female who loves people she knows and is fearful of strangers. For this reason I never tried to show her. She has had 2 litters and is an excellent mother. She has enamel hypoplasia so her teeth are not pretty but they are not more likely to break or fall out and they really dont need any special care. She is a big girl who will make a great house dog, would benefit from a fenced yard, and just wants a loving home. She is just finishing up with her second litter of puppies so should not be spayed for about 4 months, but no hurry.

CHAMPION MARCHWIND HIGH BROW born 16 March 2020
- High Brow is a lovely, housebroken, delightful, friendly girl who is retiring from her breeding and dog show career and would like a comfortable home for the rest of her years. She gets along well with other dogs and would make a good companion for another dog old or young, of either sex. Her health is excellent and you would probably want to spay her. She has no risk factors for eye disease.
She is leash trained and beautiful. Her eyebrow and split face color is distinctive. She is athletic and can keep up with you on a long walk, but does not need the exercise a younger dog would need, although a fenced in yard is definitely a plus.
She is not to be crated unless you are travelling in a car with her.

MARCHWIND GRYMYR BORN 19 DEC 2025
Grymyr is a 7 month old female Italian Greyhound who was out of a half cream [champagne fawn] mother and a pure cream father. There were 5 cream puppies, a champagne fawn, and a pure black which is not unusual. These are European bloodlines and in other parts of the world IGs are solid color only. Grymyr was hoping to go to a client in England but it just didnt work out and now she is available. She has one crooked top front canine tooth or I would keep her for breeding myself. Grymyr is friendly, self confidant, a little bossy around other dogs but does well in her pack. She is used to going potty outside and has not been in the house. She has grown up in one of my freedom yards.
She is available as a darling pet and she is tiny at 13 inches and about 9 lbs.

SHE IS EVERYTHING I WOULD WANT IN A CREAM IG, EXCEPT THAT SHE HAS TWO CROOKED UPPER CANINES, CALLED MESIOVERSION CLASS 1 MALOCCLUSION, NOT LIKLEY TO CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS BUT NOT PERFECT, THEREFORE NOT SUITABLE FOR BREEDING.
LUCE IS SWEET; A WONDERFUL, QUIET AND FRIENDLY LITTLE HOUSEDOG WHO GETS ALONG WELL WITH OTHER IGS.
SHE IS NOT TO BE BRED BUT SHE HAS BEEN AKC REGISTERED, MICROCHIPPED, AND DNA TESTED CLEAR OF EYE AND TOOTH DISEASE.
