Marchwind's

Rescues

Do you know of a Marchwind dog that's in need of rescue? Here's how our rescue process works...

Rescue our own dogs

Marchwind rescues it's own dogs. Please let me know if there is a Marchwind bred dog in a rescue situation in your area. Call or text my cell at (229) 699-0290.

Rescues are SOMETIMES FREE AND SOMETIMES THERE MAY BE A CHARGE DEPENDING ON AGE, ETC

Some of the older girls are free or available for the cost of spay, and some of the young ones may cost money.

I prefer the new owners come pick them up but I will help arrange transport

returned by owners

They must be returned at the new owner's expense if they decide they do not want the dog.

a big thank you

A big thank you to the people who have given great pet homes to some of my retiring girls and boys.

ADULT ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS LOOKING FOR LOVING PET HOMES

ADULT DOGS BEING REHOMED REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE

  1.  THEY ARE ESCAPE RISKS FOR MONTHS AND SHOULD NOT BE LET OFF LEAD.  A GPS TRACKER IS     RECOMMENDED
  2. TEETH NEED TO BE BRUSHED AND CARED FOR DAILY, SEE MY RECOMMENDATIONS ON IG CARE TIPS
  3. OLDER ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS TEND TO GET FAT, AND THIS IS NOT HEALTHY.  PLEASE DO NOT LET MY DOGS GET FAT!
  4. NONE OF THESE DOGS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED HOUSEBROKEN TO YOUR HOUSE.   THEY ARE CLEAN IN THEIR KENNEL SPACE BUT WILL NEED TO BE PROPERLY TRAINED IN YOUR HOME, EVEN IF THEY ARE CLEAN IN MY HOUSE WITH MY SET UP.

Apollo is small to medium size.

He has been living in one of my freedom yards so is not housebroken but is used to going potty outside via a dog door.

Neutering is recommended eventually but he is still a potential conformation show prospect and would make an excellent performance dog in obedience, agility, etc.

 The temperament is there!
