1) GENERAL HEALTH IS GUARANTEED ON DELIVERY, BUT BREEDER CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A CONTAGIOUS DISEASE THAT THE PUPPY MIGHT PICK UP ON ITS JOURNEY HOME. I ADVISE A VETERINARY APPOINTMENT WITHIN 30 DAYS TO CHECK FOR ANY HEALTH ISSUES ALTHOUGH THE PUPPY PASSED MY EVALUATION INCLUDING HEART SOUNDS, GI ISSUES, MUSCULOSKELETAL DEFORMITIES OR TRAUMA, HERNIAS, ETC. IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS I WILL POINT THEM OUT AND DISCUSS IT WITH YOU. ITS NOT UNCOMMON TO HAVE A TAIL KINK OR A SMALL HERNIA THAT WILL RESOLVE ON ITS OWN. 


2) ONCE PAID IN FULL, AKC PAPERS ARE GUARANTEED UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE.


3) IF THE DOG DEVELOPS A HEREDITARY CONDITION WHICH I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF, BUT THAT EVENTUALLY CAUSES THE DEATH OF THE DOG, OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE DOG FOR THE PURPOSE YOU INTENDED, THEN A REPLACEMENT DOG MAY BE OFFERED. REFUNDS ARE AT MY DISCRETION.


4) I DO NOT PAY VETERINARY BILLS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND THAT INCLUDES TESTING FOR ANY CONDITION.


5) THIS PUPPY WAS BRED FROM HEALTHY PARENTS WITH DNA TESTING THAT WERE MUTUALLY COMPATIBLE, WITH NO HEREDITARY DISORDERS OR MAJOR FAULTS. I CAN NEVER GUARANTEE SHOW QUALITY, THE DESCENT OF BOTH TESTICLES, THE DEVELOPMENT OF SLIPPING PATELLAS, BREED-ABILITY, FERTILITY, OR ANYTHING THAT MIGHT OCCUR AS AN ADULT.


6) YOU ARE NEVER OBLIGED TO BREED OR SHOW YOUR DOG UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE IN WRITING.


7) IF YOU EVER NEED TO PLACE YOUR DOG, PLEASE CALL ME FOR ASSISTANCE. BE AWARE THAT IF YOU NEUTER YOUR DOG, HE WILL NOT HAVE ANY COMMERCIAL VALUE. I WILL HELP YOU FIND A NEW HOME FOR YOUR DOG BUT CANNOT RECOVER ANY MONEY FOR YOU.



Registering Your Dog with the AKC

Important Information-Please read


READ THIS FIRST ABOUT REGISTERING YOUR DOG



The minute you get your puppy home, register him/her with AKC and start the free 30 day pet health care insurance if you have not bought any yet. They reimburse you so it doesn’t matter what vet you use. There is a $250 deductible then they pay up to $5000 directly to you. After 30 days, you can choose to keep it or choose another plan you like.  


Registering your dog gives you legal ownership, enables you to participate in AKC activities and competitions, and maintains your dog’s value. It is absolutely necessary if you ever consider breeding your dog, and is needed to sell or transfer your dog to another person.


Also when you register your puppy, you can register your microchip.


The folder you receive with your Marchwind IG puppy has the chip number in it, and is for your information. The chip number is also on the AKC registration form and I keep a copy as well. The chip is located at the top of the should blades on the dog. If you do not register your chip, it is not useful to recover your dog.  The AKC has no idea who owns the dog and if they call me about a chip #, I have no idea either.


Do all of this on-line for a fast start to your health insurance. It includes a complimentary vet visit.


When you choose a name for your dog and register it, please use Marchwind as the first word. This helps me identify dogs in the future that I bred, should that ever be a concern.

Buying A Puppy

First, I do not pay vet bills for any reason at any time. If this is a problem for you, do not buy a dog from me.

Puppies are bred from healthy parents who have been health tested. If a hereditary disorder becomes apparent later in life, I cannot be responsible for that. It is the nature of dog breeding that recessives and spot mutations may occur unpredictably.

Because of getting hacked on PayPal, I am no longer using ANY on- line money - sending institution. I ask for half the purchase price  as a deposit mailed to me via US Mail and I recommend at least priority mail.  I will hold the puppy for you for a week until I receive the deposit. After that the puppy goes back up for sale.

I do appreciate it if you let me know if you have changed your mind and no longer want the puppy. Deposits are non-refundable but can be used on a future puppy at a future date.

The balance due is required before the puppy leaves my property. I DO NOT TAKE CREDIT CARDS

I will take a personal check although cashier's check is preferred and cash is greatly appreciated. Please use the US mail, priority mail preferred.

When you reserve a puppy, I also need to know when you want the puppy. I cannot hold puppies for months at a time, but I will hold the puppy for at least 9 weeks. I will hold the puppy longer if the full purchase price is paid, but board of $10 a day is charged if the puppy is held over 12 weeks.
